I still vividly remember that exceptional wedding we covered in Pittsburgh. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and the unique charm of the city, which made it even more extraordinary. The couple Dakota and Connie chose to exchange their vows in the historic Heinz Memorial Chapel. The architecture at this chapel is so stunning its no wonder it's such a popular chapel in Pittsburgh. We, at Jean Leigh Photography, were there to capture every emotional moment, from the nervous anticipation before the ceremony to the pure joy that followed.

 

After the ceremony, our adventure didn't stop there. We roamed around the city, taking portraits against the backdrop of Pittsburgh's distinct neighborhoods and landscapes. It was more than just a photo session; it felt like a grand tour of the city. The couple's love for each other and Pittsburgh shone through each frame we captured.

 

The day was capped off with a reception on the Gateway Clipper Fleet. There's something about celebrating love on a boat, sailing through the three rivers of Pittsburgh, that adds magic to the whole experience. It was not just the beautiful setting but the laughter, the toasts, the dancing, and the joy that filled the air that made it unforgettable. During the reception, we were able to snag some beautiful photos of the couple among the cityscape on the top observation deck of the boat and the sunset was stunning!
